Applicants and Admission
Gettysburg College enrolled 604 students for the Class of 2027, selected from 7,123 applications. Of those students, 211 enrolled under Early Decision–about 35% of the class.
Academic Quality
- 51% of the students have a class rank in the top 10% of their high school graduating class.
- 75% of the students have a class rank in the top 25% of their high school graduating class.
- The average SAT score is 1337 and the median score is 1350–with a middle 50% for critical reading of 630-720 and a middle 50% for math of 610-740.
- The average ACT score is 29–with a middle 50% of 27-32.
Financial Aid
- $90.3 million in financial aid was awarded for the 2022-23 academic year, benefiting 60% of the student body.
