Orientation Ambassadors
Orientation Ambassadors (OAs) play an integral role in the process of helping new students navigate the first days on campus. Being an enthusiastic and positive role model, facilitating group discussions, and assisting first-years to become familiar with the campus are the primary responsibilities for OAs. OAs will partner with faculty and staff to share key information about resources available to students for a successful transition into the Gettysburg College community.
Heritage Program Coordinator
As the Program Coordinator for Heritage it is your job to help support/create programs to highlight heritage months. This includes Hispanic Heritage Month, Native American Heritage Month, Black History Month, Asian Pacific Heritage Month, as well as any other events celebrating the diversity represented at Gettysburg College. All Program Coordinators are expected to promote, participate and assist other PC’s with projects as needed.
Off-Campus & Community Engagement Program Coordinator
The Off- Campus Program Coordinator will help in the creation of off campus trips, establish partnerships with local community groups, and colleges in the surrounding area. Off-campus events will include educational trips (museums and conferences), as well as social (paint ball, movies, bowling). The development of partnerships will include community service opportunities in the local community and communication with community members about on campus events. A communications list will be created for surrounding institutions to be aware of programs and event on their respective campuses that students are able to attend. All Program Coordinators are expected to promote, participate and assist other PC’s with projects as needed.
Marketing & Communications Program Coordinator
The Marketing & Communications Program Coordinator position is the primary point of contact for office communication about programming and affiliated events to promote and increase the campus community’s awareness of The Office of Multicultural Engagement. This includes managing social media accounts, website, and publicizing events via the digest and alias. The Marketing & Communications PC is also expected to attend office events and assist other team members with projects.
Graphic Design Program Coordinator
Graphic Design Program Coordinator position is the primary creative mind to promote and increase the campus community’s awareness of the Office of Multicultural Engagement and all affiliated programming. This includes publicizing events by creating posters and fliers. The Marketing & Graphic Design PC is also expected to attend and promote office events and assist other team members with projects.
Office Assistant
Office Assistants will work in the office at the desk completing tasked assigned to them by the Administrative Assistant. This will include answering the phone, office mailings, campus distribution of posters and other duties as assigned.
